This “mini-Crim” is for youth ages 0-12. The event is held each year in May and each participating child receives a t-shirt, goody bag and a finisher medal. Children can participate in the Diaper Dash, Toddler Trot, Quarter Mile, Half Mile, or One Mile race. The day includes fun activities for the entire family centered on health and fitness.
This year the Kids Classic will be partnering with the Junior Leagues’ Kids in the Kitchen for a day of fun for all! Join us beginning at 10 AM for Kids Classic registration at the Sarvis Center and stay until 1 PM to participate in a race and visit the Kids in the Kitchen tent located next to the Flint Institute of Arts!
Held the Friday night before the Crim Festival of Races in August, the Crim Kids Invitational is a culminating activity for the Summer Running Clubs. This event includes a ½ mile Fun Run for kids ages 3-18 and a ¾ mile competitive run for kids ages 6-18.
Children participating in a Summer Running Club receive entry into this race for free. Children not in a summer running club may participate for a nominal fee. Please download a registration form here and return it to the Crim Fitness Foundation.

Started in 1988 as a way to get future Crim runners involved in race day activities, this event gives families a race of their own and has quickly become a flagship event for the CrimFit Youth Program.
The Teddy Bear Trot is held on the same day as the Crim Race Flint City Hall (Corner of 5th and Saginaw) as a part of the Crim Festival of Races! Download an application form here.

The Crim’s Family Fun Zone in the Flint Journal First Street Parking Lot occurs both Friday and Saturday during the Crim Festival of Races. This includes family-friendly activities, bounce houses, face painters, Genesys Mascot Photo Booth, and more!
