Team Challenge presented by MLive

MLive Flint Journal is hosting the 2013 Team Challenge
There are two divisions: CORPORATE and OPEN
The team challenge is for the 10-MILE race only
A team must have at least five members but no more than ten; top five places will be scored.
All corporate team members must be full or part-time employees of the corporation. A corporation may have as many teams as they desire.
Team Captains - register your teams online. The team registration fee includes registering the team name plus the fee to register the captain as a member on the team.
Once the team name and captain have registered, the remaining 9 members can register as individuals under the team name.
Bib numbers may not be switched.
Teams will be scored on the cross-country method; i.e. team scores will be based on each runner’s finishing position within his/her age group. The top five positions will count toward the team’s score. Teams with less than five members will not be scored as a team. Team trophies will be presented to the top five members of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams in each division.
Team members receive exclusive access to the MLive Flint Journal building on the morning of the race for privacy and restrooms.
After the race, each team member is allowed to bring one guest with them to the MLive Flint Journal celebration. Food and beverages are provided at no additional charge.

TO CREATE YOUR TEAM:

Go to the Crim Online Registration Site and select the “10 Miler” event
If you are creating a Corporate Team, select the third option down, “Corporate Team Captains create your team & pay team entry fee”
If you are creating an Open Team, select the fifth option down, “Open Team Captains create your team & pay team entry fee”
The higher fee you see will cover both your personal race entry AND the team fee
Follow the instructions to create your Team Name and Password (optional) and register yourself
Once you have completed the registration process and checked out, you will be all set with your race entry, your team creation and your registration with the team.
You can then instruct your team members to register themselves under your team:

Go to the Crim Online Registration Site and select the “10 Miler” event
Select the fourth or sixth option down, “Corporate/Open Team Member register and pay individual fee”
Enter your team name (and password if you required one)

You will need to enter the team name correctly, since there is no list to select from

Complete the rest of the individual entry form, checkout, pay, and you’ll registered for the race and for our team.
