Michigan Mile presented by The University of Michigan Flint

NEW TIME: The Michigan Mile will now be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 7:30pm as a kick-off to the Festival of Races. Watch and be inspired by the Professional Mile first at 7:15pm.

The Michigan Mile is a 1-mile timed event around the UM- Flint campus.

The race starts at the Crim start line and finishes behind the UM-Flint Recreation Center. Cool off by enjoying a scenic walk through the UM-Flint campus on your way to the festival lot.

NEW THIS YEAR: Michigan Mile on Friday Evening, 7:30pm - Run or walk the Michigan Mile on Friday evening. Whether you’re testing your speed from the track, or walking a mile for the first time, every step will be inspiring. When you finish, you'll have earned the only University of Michigan “Block M” medal around!

DOUBLE YOUR MEDALS! REGISTER FOR A COMBO PACKAGE AND SAVE: Sign up for the Michigan Mile on Friday and the 10 Mile, 8K, or 5K on Saturday morning, and receive a discount on all races.

10-Mile Wheelers Division presented by Fusion Medical

Starts at 7:30 am. (30 year runners start at 7:45am) This event follows the famous Crim 10-mile route. This division is for wheelchair and hand cycle athletes with disabilities.  Click to see the prize purse and awards.

10-Mile Run/Competitive Walk presented by McLaren Flint

Starts at 8:00 am. The Crim 10-miler presented by McLaren Flint is nationally ranked as the 4th largest race of its kind.  The route showcases all of Flint and includes a run around the University of Michigan-Flint campus, the famous Bradley Hills, Parkside Drive and the Miller Road area. Three-four deep spectators line the entire course. Entertainment and spirit stations are approximately every half mile and water stations are at mile intervals.


8K Run/Walk presented by Grand Blanc Motor Cars and Mid-Michigan Toyota Dealers

Teddy Bear Trot presented by Financial Plus  

NEW TIME: 12:00
The Teddy Bear Trot begins on Saginaw Street in front of City Hall. The distance to the finish line is just over a quarter-mile. Parents are allowed to accompany kids in this fun way to introduce the next generation of runners.
